Novara, Italy, December 16, 2015. In spite of a 4 victories in a row serie in the Italian national first league, Igor Gorgonzola NOVARA signed a new coach in place of the former mentor Luciano Pedullà
After having compromised the chances to get a spot in the Playoff phase loosing the home game with Pge Atom Trefl SOPOT, Igor Gorgonzola NOVARA decided to start a new adventure. The club said goodbye to Luciano Pedullà and signed a new mentor for the senior squad. It is Marco Fenoglio, 45 years old who worked mostly in his volleyball career with men volleyball. Mostly but not exclusively: between 2005 and 2008, he spent three seasons as a first coach in the Italian national first league winning also an Italian championship, an Italian cup and the 2007 edition of the CEV Denizbank Champions League (always with BERGAMO team). In last season, Fenoglio was in the staff of the German prestigious club Vfb Friedrichshafen.
«I am here to do my best to win the Italian title – said Fenoglio – and I feel the same like ten years ago, when another top club like BERGAMO decided to call me and let me lead their team. I am focused and determined and I am sure we really can do well, starting with our next games with Piacenza and Vicenza before the Christmas break».
